Sneak Peak | The Inn on Fifth | Naples Wedding Photography
We photographed Katie and JD’s wedding at The Inn on Fifth just yesterday, and we can’t resist sharing a snippet. We’ll post more soon of their two ceremonies and their rooftop reception.

Ginny & Cameron | Edison & Ford Winter Estates | Fort Myers Wedding Photography
Ginny and Cameron were married in the lush, tropical setting of the Edison & Ford Winter Estates. We love shooting weddings for couples that are so obviously head over heels for each other. Those two keep each other smiling all the time! Their whole wedding party was so easygoing to boot. The ceremony took place overlooking the water at the Edison & Ford Estates. Afterwards, the group had the property to themselves to roam around for photos. And there is no shortage of photos ops at that place! An old Model T carried Ginny and Cameron to their reception at The Edison Restaurant. Between Ginny and her father’s hilarious choreographed dance and the usual fotobooth antics, I’d say everyone had a great time.
We also toyed with our foto video concept throughout the day. Check back soon to see what we put together!
We love the contrasting scenes of girls getting ready vs. guys getting ready. The bridesmaids had hair and makeup done in pink satin robes, while the bride of course was in white. The guys, on the other hand, were a little more casual. (I think they went jet skiing that morning.)

The Burroughs Home Photo Shoot | Fort Myers Wedding Photographers
Karl and I recently teamed up with some amazing local vendors to put together a bridal shoot at the Burroughs Home, one of Fort Myers’ oldest residences. We’re excited to share the results of our collaboration with you! Our lovely model Jessica was dolled-up by the talented David Frohmberg of Salon International (at the Naples Bay Resort.) David knows how to bring on the gorgeousness, and he’s just so sweet. The lush bouquet and flowers for the bride’s hair were donated by Grace Lakes Florist. And how about that dress? The texture of the blooms are so pretty, especially in person. Her to-die-for floral wedding dress and veil are from Loretta Bridal Boutique. The shoot took place on a picture perfect sunny day, but the light-filled rooms inside the house were just as appealing as the pretty grounds. For something a little different than the beach, the Burroughs Home is the perfect venue for a wedding, brimming with southern charm and antique furniture. Thanks so much to all who put their energy and resources into this shoot!

Naples Florida Wedding | Sunset Beach Ceremony | the Naples Beach Hotel
Yesterday we photographed a gorgeous wedding at The Naples Beach Hotel for Andrea and Brett. We couldn’t have asked for a happier couple or a prettier day. Andrea and Brett were pros in front of our cameras as we made our way around the property snapping so many fun shots. The Naples Beach Hotel has many visually intriguing backdrops, from the beach to the lush greenery to the texture of the walls. The Jewish ceremony took place on the lawn adjacent to the beach just before sunset. A steel drummer set the tone for the cocktail hour.
Andrea kept her baby blue and chocolate brown scheme running through her reception decor, as seen on the candlelit tables. It’s always entertaining to watch the couple teetering above the crowd during the hora. Nearby, we set up the fotobooth (our own version of the old school photo booth) and spread out the props. We’re still a little amazed at how much attention our little fotobooth gets… it was slammed! Later in the evening came la hora loca, which is what it sounds like. Everyone dances around with maracas, whistles, blow-up guitars, and silly hats. We had lots of fun with Andrea, Brett, and their sweet families. Thanks for having us, we wish you all the best!

Naples Florida Wedding | Sunset Beach Ceremony | the Naples Hilton
Karl and I were pleased last month to shoot Bob and Joie’s wedding at the Naples Hilton. What can we say about Bob and Joie… they are a lovely lovely couple. They must have been models in a past life… they made our jobs easy! We began the day at the Naples Hilton with some shots of the guys at the pool area. Next we captured the girls getting ready. A shuttle carried everyone to a nearby Naples beach for the ceremony. The Hilton has a gorgeous, minimal-yet-large-scale cross as an altar. After some sunset photos we made it to 5th Avenue (downtown Naples) for a shot in front of the Sugden Community Theater where all the trees are beautifully lit. Back at the Hilton for the reception, wedding guests packed the dance floor… and they definitely made good use of the fotobooth (photo booth), as you’ll see here. After a sparkler send off, we grabbed a few extra sparklers and found a dark corner to play around with the light and shapes. Congrats Bob and Joie!

the luminaire fotobooth (photo booth) In Action
We love the classic photo booth, but carting one around in addition to our usual load isn’t so realistic. Our very portable fotobooth setup allows us to bring all the hilarity along for the ride, plus room for a bag of great props. The fotobooth accommodates a much larger group of friends than it’s classic counterpart. And we can use all sorts of backdrops, coordinated to your event if you wish. Guests love it as an awesome alternative to dancing. (Or why not have both and dance in the fotobooth?) Have a look!

Nancy & Austin’s Wedding at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort
Just before the holidays, Nancy and Austin tied the knot in a beautiful garden ceremony at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort and Golf Club in St. Pete’s. Their wedding included some wonderful details, which are always fun to shoot. (Nancy’s lace Vera Wang dress was seriously beautiful.) We wish you the best Nancy and Austin!

Annel & Owen’s Fort Myers Pink Shell Beach Resort & Spa Wedding
Inevitably, some wedding mornings start off grey and rainy. But what I love is that most often the sun peeks out minutes before the ceremony. (Although should it rain at the Pink Shell you get those fun pink umbrellas.) This was the story at our own wedding, and also for Annel and Owen, who had a wonderful day celebrating with family and friends. Check out their cute sandcastle. Congrats you two, you were wonderful to work with!

Naples Florida Wedding | Naples Sailing & Yacht Club | Natalie & AJ
Natalie and AJ were married last Saturday amongst a happy crowd of family and friends. We had the opportunity to shoot with our new friend Heidi, and between the three of us, we have lots of great photos. Following the ceremony, we took some quick shots in the 3rd Street area, and then onto the the reception at the Naples Sailing & Yacht Club. The fotobooth made it’s debut wedding appearance, and the guests took full advantage. Congratulations to the handsome couple. You’re wonderful together and we wish you well!
Don’t forget to check out Natalie & AJ’s Naples engagement photos taken at 3rd Street.
Luminaire Foto is happy to offer a versatile fotobooth for all of your events. Check out our recent booth at Natalie & AJ’s wedding.

Fort Myers Beach Wedding | Pink Shell Beach Resort & Spa | Steve & Laura
Last weekend we shot a wedding at the Pink Shell Beach Resort on Fort Myers Beach on what turned out to be the nicest August evening we can recall. The wedding party practically glowed in the evening light. Amongst the laughs, little kisses, and twirling skirts, we caught some wonderful shots. Congrats to the both of you!
