Grandezza Golf and Country Club
I had to post this image taken at a wedding photo shoot for Grandezza. We took this image on the bridge where the water behind Angelina has such an amazing mystic quality.
photo booth fun!
This photo reminded me of our upcoming trip to Paris! If you look hard you can see an Eiffel Tower in the photo, but this also makes me just love how many people can go in our fotobooth!
Julie & Matt | Pink Shell Beach Resort | Fort Myers Wedding Photographers
So Julie and Matt remind us of someone we know: us. They recently moved here from across the country, no family in the area. Once they unpacked they bought a puppy. Just a cute little newlywed family of sorts. And we can completely relate to that. There’s something wonderful about beginning married life in unexplored territory with just each other. Have a look at Julie and Matt’s two engagement shoots here.
Their wedding took place at the Pink Shell Beach Resort & Spa in Fort Myers Beach. We had fun capturing Julie getting ready with her mom and friends, pretty shoes, dresses, and bright colors all around. We all held our breath while frantically searching the room for Julie’s missing wedding ring… Thankfully it had just slipped from the box and was found in the bottom of a bag! After a few pink smoothies to keep cool we led Julie to Matt for their first sight. They first glimpsed one another in the butterfly garden, where their ceremony was to be held hours later. Taking advantage of the time we made a quick trip to the pier area and Times Square, which is so casual and colorful.
I drew in my breath as Julie walked down the aisle to “Part of Your World” played on the violin and harp. It was magical. (When that movie came out I was five, and I remember dancing in front of my chair in the theatre.) Sea grapes shaded the altar and the whole wedding party looked so perfect. Following the ceremony everyone made their way to cocktail hour and we set up the fotobooth. Overlooking the beach, Julie, Matt and their guests danced the night away, including two applaudable guests on crutches! The fotobooth was occupied all evening, largely by Julie’s little brother, hamming it up. They were such a great group, and we really enjoyed our day with them. Congratulations Julie and Matt, all the best!
St. Petersburg Wedding Photography | Marriott Sand Key | Heidi & John
During my relaxing Memorial Day weekend I’ve realized that I’ve fallen behind on my blog. Here are some pics from Heidi & John’s wedding a couple of weeks ago. Heidi & John said their vows at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, a beautiful modern day Catholic church. After the ceremony we made our way down to the Marriott Sand Key. On the way we stopped at the Sandy Key Park to take some beach shots where the sun was relentless, but we pushed on to get some great shots. Thanks to the guys who where wearing all black for keeping up the good spirits. And thank you Heidi & John for allowing me to be a part of your day, I wish the two of you a long and happy life together.
