It was wonderful to watch this wedding unfold, from the joyful signing of the ketubah to the windy ceremony under the chuppah. Jeni and Adam were married at Vineyards Country Club here in Naples. The newlyweds were quite the couple on the dance floor. When you see the two of them together that spark is instantly apparent, and you just know that they’re perfect for each other. Congrats Jeni and Adam!

There’s much to love about the big Greek wedding of Kaliopi and Valanti. We kicked off the day with the girls at Studio RK Salon in Fort Myers. Once the bridal party was feeling their most glamourous, the girls and the guys put on the finishing touches at separate residences. Aren’t the touches of blue throughout the wedding pretty?

The wedding ceremony took place at a Greek Orthodox church in Fort Myers. Orthodox churches always have the most interesting and colorful interiors, full of gold leafed religious figures and red candles. The newlyweds held their reception at Colonial Country Club in Fort Myers. We witnessed fotobooth fun, miles of dancers circling one another, and happy guests laughing the night away. One of our favorite moments of the night was Karl in the center of the dance floor, photographing the guests dancing around him. He’s just so tall that sometimes I have to laugh. We were clued in to Jeff and Chrissy’s good natured sense of humor during their engagement session, and their wedding was no different. Needless to say we were in for a fun wedding day. The wedding party started their day at The Inn on Fifth where they prepped for the festivities. After a few photos on the balcony overlooking downtown Naples, we headed to the church. The wedding party traveled by trolley to the Garden of Hope and Courage at NCH. The bridal party had fun posing with some of the statues, and the flower girl celebrated by throwing flower petals.

Jeff and Chrissy held their reception at the Windstar on Naples Bay. From our standpoint it was a great place to shoot: big windows and full of light. A live band entertained the packed dance floor, the food was wonderful, and to top it off, they had cheesecake pops instead of a wedding cake! Not to mention a groom’s cake. Karl and I recently teamed up with some amazing local vendors to put together a bridal shoot at the Burroughs Home, one of Fort Myers’ oldest residences. We’re excited to share the results of our collaboration with you! Our lovely model Jessica was dolled-up by the talented David Frohmberg of Salon International (at the Naples Bay Resort.) David knows how to bring on the gorgeousness, and he’s just so sweet. The lush bouquet and flowers for the bride’s hair were donated by Grace Lakes Florist. And how about that dress? The texture of the blooms are so pretty, especially in person. Her to-die-for floral wedding dress and veil are from Loretta Bridal Boutique. The shoot took place on a picture perfect sunny day, but the light-filled rooms inside the house were just as appealing as the pretty grounds. For something a little different than the beach, the Burroughs Home is the perfect venue for a wedding, brimming with southern charm and antique furniture. What a great wedding in Plantation Florida, Noel & Dave tied the knot at Jacaranda Country Club. The country club had these unbelievable grounds, followed by the bride arriving to the ceremony riding on a old classic fire truck. Thanks again Noel & Dave for allowing me to be a part of your day!
